Bob Jones University lives up to its claimReligion/Religious
Bob Jones University lives up to its claim to teach students not merely "how to make a living, but how to live!" And "how to live" is through your personal, daily relationship with Jesus Christ. No matter what major you are considering, BJU stresses your walk with the Lord Jesus as the most important priority of your life. If you are a Christian looking for a Christian education, you do not need to look any further than this school. The Word of God is believed, taught and preached, and every true Believer will have his/her heart challenged & warmed!

Your preparation for a career will also be top-notch. I majored in Bible and minored in Business Administration. I have used both areas extensively in my personal and professional life. My wife graduated with a Nursing degree, and we both agree that we had excellent training.

Bob Jones is a challenging school -- academically, spiritually, and even socially. There are extensive regulations, but instead of limiting your "freedom" as a young student, they give you greater freedom to explore the most important issues, while removing many other pressures that are prone to distract. Be prepared with a good attitude and pursue all the opportunties that are available!

After graduation, you will be more than adequately prepared, but true success will be hinged on your personal drive and character. Personally, I worked very hard to obtain a high level banking position which had nothing to do with my major, but had everything to do with the work ethic and character training I received at Bob Jones. But, it also prepared me for my current co-role as Pastor, which has always been the desire of my heart! The Lord has provided these opportunities to serve Him more.I strongly recommend BJU.

My time at BJU was great! I wasAverageArt & Design Department
My time at BJU was great! I was only there for a year, but in just that short time it changed my life. The rules might be hard for some to get use to, but once you get into the swing of things and busy with your studies you will not have time to worry about it. :) All my teachers were wonderful and pushed me to do my best. The productions done on campus (plays, operas...) are VERY well done. I loved them! It's a great excuse to forget about school for the night and get all dressed up.My advice: meet lots of people, get involved on campus and off campus (community outreach), get lots of sleep and eat well - helps the brain work :) - you'll need it!
