Students at this school are racist and conservative,AverageBiology
Students at this school are racist and conservative, and are not tolerant of views that differ from their own. If you are a minority and want to attend a school where you will feel welcome and comfortable in your environment, this is not the place to go. If you are white and conservative, this is the place for you. Also, if you plan to pursue a major in liberal arts, DO NOT go to school here. Our liberal arts department has faced major cuts in funding and is not what it used to be.

Question
Being an in-state student throughout high school, thereQuite BrightBiology
Being an in-state student throughout high school, there is many rumors that many have heard about Texas A&M University, the biggest and most proliferated (fat rumor)however is the FACT that Texas A&M is close-minded and very conservative. This is absolutely true!!! Texas A&M has two extremes, it can be the most depressing, isolated, red-neck place lost in the middle of 1889 Texas; or, if u are a native texan that enjoys traditional rituals and the Aggie camaraderie, it is the bast place next to heaven. I will tell u this, we are a school of white, heterosexual, Christian students.(great academic institution.)

Question
TAMU took a while to grow on me,BrightBiology
TAMU took a while to grow on me, but once I became involved and got to know what was really available to me as far as extracurricular activities and social events, the time at TAMU went much too quickly!! The high-spirited football games and ring dunks were probably the most memorable for me and I will ALWAYS be a Fightin Texas AGGIE--WHOOP!
