I think it's quiteQuite Bright
I think it's quite hilarious that someone on staff at CNU has to write fake reviews. Everyone I know who went to CNU left because they hated it so much. As a perspective student for college it's quite a turn-off when college staff has to write reviews because they know their school sucks.

Don't go here unlessBrightEnglish
Don't go here unless you are a religious fanatic! I transferred out of here like most of my friends did. I urge everyone to look beyond the brochures. CNU is in a crappy area. The administration will make no effort to help students.

Question
At one point, this college had a point.Computer Science
At one point, this college had a point. It served as an inexpensive option for a 4 year degree and provided degrees that matched the needs of the localities.

It is amazing how much it has grown infrastructure-wise. However, I would argue its academics and research is even less than it was before it grew. The college is lead by a very political person who knows how to get state money. But doesn't really know what is important in running a university (he is only a JD with a honorary PhD from CNU)...other then being a US senator, it is hard to see how he was qualified to be a university president, let alone one of a community college.

The school has a oppressive non-adult like treatment of their students. If you need another 4 years of high school, this is the place for you. If you ever get acused of anything, you are guilty and there is no use arguing your case.

If you can meet he current stated requirements of this school, you are far better off at another university that employers will know where you graduated from. You will also get a much better college experience. If you are getting in with less than the requirements, which i understand happens quite a bit, there are better options in the state. The Commonwealth of Virginia should stop wasting tax payers money and either close it or allow it to be independent.
