While the academic side of the University practicesBrightBusiness - Management and Administration
While the academic side of the University practices Christian Values the Athletic Department has a different set of values. Fund Raising, Money and Accomplishments are more important than Christian Values and they are more than willing to use the perception of Christian values to cover up abusive coaching practices, drug involvement and substance abuse to accomplish their goals. I would not recommend Liberty University as a school for Athletes.

There are too many rules, the administration beats over your head. I felt confined and I felt that I was being watched all the time

Question
Liberty only has one good thing about it,Not so brightPsychology
Liberty only has one good thing about it, its teachers. The Teachers here are very willing to try and help you and are there for you, you will learn a great deal from them. Everything else is sheer hell, and its amazing thing it doesn't have a higher suicide rate or the school hasn't been shot up. The bureaucracy that runs the places is swirling death trap, where you will be bounced from one person to the next. Each having their own perspective on what you need to do, that may be totally contradictory to what the previous person told you. cooperation is none existent between is separate offices; which causes constant phone calls or e-mails concerning things that have not been filled (even though they were)to be a weekly problem, that are cause for worry and aggravation. If you aren't a believer in Christ, then you will have an extremely difficult time here. If you are, you will have your love and understanding of God expanded, and you will need it. All that will await you is despair in the hell of disorganization and false information. So essentially, you will learn a lot and have a fair understanding of whatever your major will deal with. The downside is that everything from getting a parking pass to getting your diploma is chore, and you have to fight for it every step of the way.
