Grand Valley is a beautiful University… everything is up-to-date and modern.. Most of the faculty is out to help you succeed.. yet there is a high percent of arrogant, unhelpful staff members as well. This could simply be the ones in gen ed courses, I am not sure. I love living on campus, however the security is whack! They are very concerned about finding students drinking rather than keeping an eye on safety overall (like car break-ins and people stealing things.. like chairs from the lobby).. You need to have a car to go to Grand Valley, or find someone the first week who has a car.. There isn't much night-life in Allendale, you'll have to go to Grand Rapids to find fun.
