The main campus is in Allendale, which is a small town with too many policemen and not enough crimes. Luckily there are free bus rides to the downtown Grand Rapids campus where there is a much better night life—for such a conservative area. There are a fair amount of opportunities to get involved in organizations and groups—more so than most larger universities. Just don't expect any radical movements to spring up in this place. We're talking Averageland, USA here. There are also a lot of women here, which is always a plus for the fellas.
