my college career at furman has been fantastic. the people, including fellow students, professors, and staff, make Furman a wonderful place. coursework is quite challenging, but manageable. furman prepares students well for further schooling and for the "real world". some students join sororities and fraternities, but a majority of students are not greek, and you don't have to be in a greek organization to have an enjoyable social life at furman. some students are conservative, but most are open-minded and non-judgemental. i highly recommend furman to any student who is looking for a small, liberal arts university - furman provides a strong academic education and atmosphere for personal growth and maturity.
