Date: Aug 22 2003 Major: English (This Major's Salary over time) I have to say that I am very happy, in hindsight, with my experience at UD. I was an instate student who was bound and determined to get out of DE. I wanted to go to a prestigious women's university in upstate New York. When it came down to the wire, I didn't have the funding. Given that UD was not my choice school, I think I made the best of it. When I entered school I was not very assertive or sure of myself. By working in Residential Life, I learned to push myself and learnED to be an effective public speaker, and a confident leader. I am now finishing my Masters in Psychology in Boston and taking my state licensure exam to be a psychotherapist, I would never have had the confidence in myself to enter such a career without the skills and support I gained at UD… Oh, AND I HAD A LOT, I MEAN A LOT OF FUN!
