Northeastern is a school that is improving constantly. The current administration seems determined to make Northeastern a top-tier school, and so far they're succeeding! Once a blue-collar, commuter school; Northeastern has invested millions over the past decade to completely transform the school. Everything from the faculty to the campus is getting better every year. The kids that go here are also improving. I've been impressed with each new freshman class as the school's standards keep going up. It's a cheaper alternative to the other big schools in boston (ie- Boston University and Boston College) and at the moment seems more promising. Everything about this school is getting better and it's very exciting to be a part of such an up and coming university. I'd say it's one of the best up and coming schools in the nation. Keep an eye on this school, in a few years it'll be right up with BU and BC (even though I think it already is).
