Major: Philosophy (This Major's Salary over time)
I had some adjustments to make at Colgate. The small town was not what I had expected, though the revitalization projects in downtown Hamilton are making the area more attractive and are offering more social opportunities. Anyone from a decent suburb or city will find Hamilton, NY, somewhat claustrophobic, but extremely safe. What I disliked most was the amount of money students have. Maybe I was jealous because I didn't have any. Students have really nice cars, clothes, and spending money. If you don't have money, it will be difficult to adjust, but not impossible. I made tons of friends, but money limited my activities in a big way with them. I also spent a lot of time studying and I worked damn hard for my grades. This is not an easy school but all of the adjustments are well worth it.
