IU was great! I was definitely in a "bubble" when I was in high school—small christian high school. I was not prepared when I went to IU for everything that I saw, did, and experienced. However, those 4 1/2 years of my life was where I did my biggest growing. I made mistakes, took risks, and learned from everything that I did. It's true, apart from a select few professors, there is no one-on-one attention. You HAVE to motivate yourself to be successful at IU and not get too caught up in the great social things that IU has to offer. But I'll tell you what…once you do motivate yourself, do well, and eventually graduate, it is all worth it.
