Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
Great Diversity. Open-Minded school atmosphere.Too overcrowded which was a factor into a lot of the schools downfall for student growth academically and mentally. The Business school tries hard to stay up with the competition. Did a good job with doing so. However, every class seemed like a crash course. There was not a lot of time to ask questions or to get any understanding. If you were like me, a first generation college student. You were sort of out of luck with the counselor guidance. If you had to learn as you went through the college experience like I did… a C GPA may be in your future. I read online different counselings from IVY LEAGUE schools and they really spent one on one time trying to make sure the students were prepared, ready and disciplined for all that was ahead. Not coming from a strong academic background, I lacked the discipline and certainly didnt know the right questions to ask. If I did..I'm sure I would now be applying to NYU with a lot of confidence instead of sitting here miserably…hoping any grad school would accept me now. I now work doing secretary type work becauseI wasnt ready in college…Of course Ivy League schools are much smaller. Especially smaller than my public school of over 30K students. SIGH.
