If you cannot get enough of football, that is, the endless amounts of money spent on football, the time spent talking about football, and the supreme emphasis the university administration places on football, then Auburn is the choice for you. Don't misread me…I am actually a football fan. However, Auburn goes as the rest of the state of Alabama goes. Academic excellence is not the highest priority. Auburn has a fair reputation academically. It is a decent school and as with most colleges/universities, the experience is proportional to the amount of work students put into it. Yet, if you are interested in a more stimulating and less conservative university, seek your education elsewhere.
