ECU was a decent school. However, I didn't discover until later how much weight employers in NC give to the school you attended. Knowing that now, I would have transferred to UNC-Chapel Hill or Wake Forest (I had the grades).

It is a shame because friends I know who did attend those schools aren't any brighter, just had better advice than I did. My parents didn't attend college, and I attended a small, rural school. I simply went to the nearest public university, though I was an Honor Student, good grades, all that stuff.

I am not down on the school—it was a good all-around college; it just doesn't get much respect in these parts.
