I'm a senior majoring in journalism and I absolutely love it here.

GW IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT. If you go around complaining and obsessing over how every gw girl is obsessed with her prada bag, you will hate it here. you have to make the best of it. i have friends who are richer than god, but you would never know it. you can find REAL people here—in fact, there are lots of them.

smpa is a challenging school. it's small and because you take classes with the same kids over and over it's VERY competitive. i personally thrive in this environment. some kids like the sound of their own voices a little too much, but even professors know these kids are idiots. professors in smpa have great connections, impressive resumes, and can actually teach. there may be a lot of adjuncts in this school, but they have been some of my favorite profs.
