I'm wondering if the same people keep commenting here about this place…there is no way it is the gem they make it out to be. The Bucknell Bubble seems like a nice break from reality - until you realize the reality of being in the middle of nowhere absolutely sucks and forces people to drink regularly to forget where they are.

I thought I would be challenged more. I thought the people would be more diverse and open-minded. I thought there would be countless things to do. At least, that's what the recruiters told me. Good sell, impossible truth. I can definitely say this place is not for me, but there are many who enjoy the solitude here. Keep your options open before committing. When I go home for vacations (Seattle, WA) people have no idea WHERE Bucknell is, let alone WHAT it is. Does anyone else have that same problem if you're not from boring PA???
