Major: Math (This Major's Salary over time)
Recently a high school senior, I looked throughout the greater South when applying to college. Living in Apex, North Carolina, a suburb of Raleigh, I considered everything from Duke and UNC to UVA, Washington & Lee, and Wake Forest. Unsure at the time of where I wanted to spend my four years of college, however,I applied regular decision. Accepted to all the schools I considered, I had a tough choice, but in the end I chose Furman. Now only a term into college, I'm involved in countless activities and organizations including Campus Outreach, the Furman Office of Scholars, Leadership Edge, and the fraternity rush process, while serving as an overnight host for prospective students. Like most students here, I'm borderline overcommitted, but it serves as an example to the countless opportunities Furman offers.
