I applied to 8 very different schools in 2002 when I wanted to go away to college. UD was the only one that fit everything I was looking for. This place offers a beautiful campus with top-notch faculty and staff. There are enough students here that you feel part of a well-established, big university, yet I could see 10 people I knew walking to class.

At first the girls were alittle intimidating. Alot of people are from the surrounding states and are in sororities and of the "typical preppy girl" lifestyle. But since I fit that description as well, I think most people will find their niche here.

Don't be afraid to branch out - if you are looking for other things to do, you will find them. You just have to find friends you are comfortable with. The bars have gone downhill since the Balloon closed, but they are still awesome! I just went back for Homecoming this weekend and I miss it so much!

Beautiful campus, beautiful people. Work is hard, department classes are small. I never had a TA in four years here.

Enjoy it while you can, the real world sucks!
