CPP is one of those schools that acts like, As in, most of the students don't like it here, but they realize that their education is probably better and their classes are harder and they are more likely to get a job out of college. But, considering that only about 10% live on campus, thats only about 10% that really figure out what Cal Poly has to offer. There are soooo many resources and opportunities that are hardly taken advantage of because all the commuters don't stay to find out. There is always something going on for the 20% that chose to stick around and for the 20% that do, it makes the campus feel a lot smaller than it really is. No matter where I am going I always run into a friend. My professors are fantastic and understanding, and you will probably find that yours are as well if you go and meet them at their offiice hours. I think the more you try to be involved, the more you like the school.
