The University of Houston

Oh where should i start. I absolutely hate the University of Houston with unspeakable hatred. The UH campus is probably the most depressing place ive ever been. The life on campus is non exhistent. I've seen funeral homes more cheerful than this place. The people are for hte most part apathetic, unapproachable, dull. The student organizations are a joke. It's located in the middle of the worst neighborhood in southeast Texas, a pain to get to, and they tore down yet another parking lot. the housing is overpriced, tuition is over priced, parking permits are over priced etc….

With very few exceptions, the professors for the most part are liers, rude, unapproachable, will go out of their way to screw you over, treat students terrible as if we're an inconveniance to thethem, most cant speak understandable English, make students do pointless busywork, etc. I feel like im in high school again. U of H really went out of its way to earn its nickname "Cougar High." Its a well deserved title.

The Staff are even worse than the professors. Most resemble lazy ghetto trash crackdealers that arent fit to work at wal-mart for minimum wage, let alone run the financial aid office or the campus police department. The new Peoplesoft computer system is absolutely awful, a huge downgrade from their older system. The over priced tuition, i know i stated the overpriced tuition before but holy christ does it need repeating, just keeps rising. It just gets worse every year here.

My advice to anyone planning to come here is simple. Avoid this place like a plague. If this is youre only option, just dont go to college at all. If you have other options by all means take them.
