Major: Civil Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
CEE department is not a good choice for graduate student, it is like a business but not academic department. You cannot learn anything from 8 months program. The only thing you got is a useless certificate. When you come here, you know the department is unworthy of the name of "top 10" program. It is not worth. Some faculty even do not prepare for their lecture and know little about what he taught. To be honest, I do not know other department at CMU, but CEE in CMU is truely not a good choice. There is not any course related to real work.
