I'm not sure how to describe SJU. There is something about the spirit that seems to be present upon coming to SJU, however you quickly learn that it's hard to find except for at the Basketball games. Student life is not so great, no one attends the activites hear…the only well attended sport is Basketball. Other activities are a joke. I thought sju was going to be awesome and it is when you talk about some of the people you meet here… but its a B school, and an incredible amount of work will be needed to reach "pre-eminence"..if it ever does. Like someone else said, everything's done to 80% capacity around here. We all just have to become used to things we have to deal with and by the end of the year, we have lowered our standards and are used to the stuff we have to deal with. They are growing, however they can't even handle the campus they have now.. Also, they claim they are nationally known and ranked; well if you look at the ranking's SJU's only on the list for graduate part time MBA, and the last time I checked, that's not the program I'm enrolled in. SJU's business school is good, but I tried to find it listed on the top business schools and its not there—.Another thing that was said that was so true, they offer a little money to everyone who they accept, and many come because of that, not because they wanted to go to SJU, and that contributes to they reason why everything's done at 80%…
Their values are great, some people are nice, however it's not worth the money. It's sad because it does have so much potential.
