I wanted to get a positive review in here because I feel like the negative ones are not doing Assumption justice and the one positive one was obviously written by an admissions counselor or something. I gradauted in '01 and my brother graduated in '07. The fact that we both went there speaks to the experience, but I also wanted to add that I totally disagree with the sentiment that it is not a That's nonsense. Assumption is what you make of it, just like most schools. However, more than most schools, Assumption has found a great balance in terms of academics, social life, and extra-curricular life that most schools strive for bu don't actually achieve. At Assumption, you really can do everything you want to do and not lose out on any one aspect of college life. To me, that's one of the great things about the school. To add to that, there is a variety of students at Assumption. People come from good schools, prep schools, catholic schools, wherever. Most are from New England or some part of the Northeast. Almost all of the student body are regular people who work hard and play hard, and when they get out of school they get good jobs. What more do you want from a school? My only real criticism of Assumption would be that there are a lot of cliques, but I think that's probably true of most places with more than 500 students.
