USC may look like a good school on the outside. But once you settle in, you realize that USC is just an over-rated college. It's a "good" school, but not good enough to be a Stanford, UCLA, Harvard, Yale or Northwestern. It never will be as long as the school favors athletics and party animals over serious academics. I also hated my life at USC because the students in the dorms are real jerks. Blast their music loud just to irritate you. I had many horrible incidents with neighbors while living in Birnkrant hall years ago. The R.A's did nothing to intervene, and rather, told me to move to another dorm, or simply move off campus. Then another year, I lived in a single room, and a jerk across me would scribble racist remarks on my white board, place condoms on my door knob, throw trash in front of my door, and throw my bicycle on the sidewalk. I will never forget the hateful people of USC. I also couldn't stand the snobby materialistic, superficial characteristics of a lot of the USC students. This is why I would not have gone there if I had a chance to go back in time.
