Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
I am a Biology major here at DU and I am considering attending Medical School post graduation. When first applying to DU I actually was accepted into a few small liberal arts schools on the East Coast, an Ivy League (Cornell) and Notre Dame. I chose DU for many reasons. DU has the size of a large liberal arts school; however, has the resources of a large university. Plus the science programs here are outstanding and I love living in Denver. It is always sunny, there are tons of activities, and the people are a lot friendlier than on the East Coast. I think that DU wants to become the Stanford of the Western States and I definitely see it going in that direction. I believe that each year the student body is becoming more diverse and DU continues to grow its reputation throughout the US. I would recommend any student that truly wants a great education in a great part of the country should attend DU.
