I HATE this school, all that the student body can pride itself is that it has a ton of putdowns for other schools in the area, like Texas A&M University. The school is a dump, ALL construction goes to the lowest bidder and it shows. Mechanically speaking (as I am a HVAC commercial technician) the people that maintain EVERYTHING at this school and in the entire CRAPPY city of huntsville are complete IDIOTS. Huntsville itself is a dump, nothing more than a bunch of hillbillys and blacks; both in and out of prison. I have had several professors (about half) that were ESL (and did not speak clearly enough to understand), and several professors who are so into their own field that they have no way of explaining it to those who are not (students). The only place worse than shsu is university of houston, and the only reason thats the way it is, is due to the fact that uh is located in the GHETTO…shsu is located in a hillbilly ghetto…RUN, goto TAMU or UT, or even TT for god sakes, do not waste your time going to this crappy school.
