The English department is horrible. There are a few REAL post secondary level classes taught but for the most part, it has been a high school rerun. At least three faculty members are in desperate need of tenure re-evaluation.

English department graduate students are the biggest @ssholes I've ever met.

Try to find your counselor—if you've been assigned one.

Getting information about graduate school scholarship money was so difficult and such a closely-guarded secret that I have decided to apply to another—and better—graduate program. I will be very glad when I get out of this school.
