I thought at first this would be the best college for me, since there was a lot of hype about the school. I have all my classes and book paid for in addition to free boarding. I was disappointed that I didn't get the attention I needed and support that I'm entitled too. I was assured that being African American that I would be given additional resources to succeed in this school. I don't like the fact that I'm in classes full of students and there is no professor. I am just sitting there watching a recorded video from last year. I wanted a degree in political science from a prestigious college so that one day I can be a senator. However I haven't learned anything that I can't get for free from a library. This college is a joke and I think they need to recruit more Asian women too. At least I would have something to do.

The belief your entitled to more than any other student because your African American is ludicrous. You ma'am are the joke. I'm beginning to think the only reason you were accepted is because of your race. I suggest if you really do want to become a Senator one day to change your attitude, or no one will vote for you.

The amount of ignorance in this one post is baffling. For starters, we live in the age of information. ANYTHING you will EVER learn at any school is free either on the internet or a library. By the way, have you walked around campus? There is probably a larger population of asians than any other ethnicity or race on campus.

UF is known to be a rather redneck, racist school. UCF actually has what you were saying you were promised at UF. Just reading the responses tells you everything you need to know about UF…which is kind of sad. I hate that this kind of place is a flagship university of my state.
