If you're considering GVSU, then you'd better be serious about your academics and improving yourself. It's that simple. As you progress, fellow students tend to become more absorbed in their academic programs, which is what you want if you are like-minded. Undeclassmen students obsessed with MIPs (minors in possession) are concerned only with drinking alcohol. If you are delaying adulthood by chasing alcohol, then—seriously—go elsewhere; GVSU doesn't want you. A community college and a nice associates degree will fit your needs.
