UF is a large university. Generally, the faculty and student body overhype the prestige of this place. Alot of things are done in a draw out, bureacratic way; especially within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Professor quality is pretty evenly distributed; about a third are horrible and care less failing half their class; a third are average and a third are the great people, who devote just as much time to teaching and students as they do research.
