Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
I've been going to TWU for five years, and it's not because I couldn't get it done—No, they keep postponing my graduation date due to administration technicalities. Now, they want to charge me out-of-state tuition for having too many credit hours: most of which I obtained in high school through AP testing.

ALL of the core curriculum was busywork, and trying to 'think outside the box' or having any kind of opinion different than the instructors' was a guaranteed lower grade. Most of my classes went as follows: Get homework, go to class, discuss homework in class, lecture from the book using a powerpoint that says exactly what's in the book, take open-book test- Have questions? The answer can be found in the book, and no, I won't discuss it further.

They've got great extra curricular activities to choose from, and most of the students are really friendly and helpful- but right now there's a level of discontent going around campus about shoddy administration and lack of communication. Our Chancellor makes about $25 more per student than those of other, more prestigious, much larger universities… which just happens to be more than the U.S. president.

The school is having major budget cuts- being $4mill below budget will do that. But instead of taking a salary cut from the top, our university is firing tenured professors.

Have I mentioned that the local community colleges charge much less per credit hour, have a much larger selection of degree plans and course selections, and have about the same experienced leveled instructors heading the classrooms?

Overall assessment: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. TWU JUST WANTS YOUR MONEY; THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR STUDENTS.
