VCU is a zoo. They have way too many students and not enough teachers, advisors, classes, etc. They have raised the tuition more than a grand and things have gotten more chaotic and unorganized. If you want to attend a college that has no intention of actually helping you succeed, this is your school. Don't expect getting responses or even feedback from your academic or financial advisor. Simply put, they accepted a lot more students than the university is fit to handle and just did not want to hire more faculty to correspond to the number of its students. Not worth the money! Go to a more respected college where you will get what you're paying for!!

Hmm…a rant about how crappy ONE element of the school is: student:teacher ratio. Please leave that in a blog and save this space for serious applicants. We need to know the tuition price, average book prices, room & board, security, organizations, and what the town is like.

Seems like VCU employees respond to a lot of these comments. I will second your opinion of the school…is is crappy, they milk the kids for cash, and then offer them no value in return.
