The hell I have gone through at this place for the past three years has been insane.

The administration is filled with people who have no idea what they are doing and don't care to figure it out. Do not believe it when they say you can afford to go here. You can't. Do not go to the financial aid or student account offices if you are having trouble finding funds to cover your bill. You can talk to the same person again and again and they have no idea who you are and spit out the same, useless answers every time they talk to you. They don't care to help you and will more likely put a hold on your account than do their job. God help you if you actually have a financial hold. Unless you have the money you owe in hand, you don't exist. I'm actually transferring at the beginning of my senior year (of all times!) because I can't afford to go here and no one cares enough to help. And I couldn't be happier.

The biology program is awful. You don't learn much. Either classes are really easy and no effort is needed, or they are extremely hard and you have no idea what you are doing. Most of the professors and TAs in the science programs can't speak English that well. The biology professors are very rude to students. Some of the TAs are even worse (Like Heather, the most vile person I have ever met). Trying to get in touch with them in hard enough as it is, but it's even worse when you are treated like an idiot when you get one-on-one time. Students in the program are way too competitive for their own good. College is a game to them. They will do anything to get to the top. And if they aren't cliquey and have their own little group of friends, they have zero social skills.

The campus looks like trash because they are constantly renovating. Half the new buildings are ugly as sin and the exact opposite of the older buildings, almost to an extreme level. To make it worse, all the old buildings are like moldy caves about to collapse at any second. Especially Stratton. It's embarrassing.

The only good thing I can say about this school is that they have a great Education program. Take a teaching class or two if you can. You can even complete their program online!

It's a shame it has taken me this long to figure out the negatives highly outweigh the positives. I wasted so much time I'll never get back.
