Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
I graduated in 1988 with a degree in English. I found Vanderbilt both academically and socially challenging. It was a tough school. my class had about a 25% attrition rate. I left after my sophomore year but returned 2 years later and graduated. This is not school to coddle the student through insecurity and self discovery. My education was first class. I loved living in McGill Hall. I don't know if I would want my kids going here. I know that it would eat my son's lunch.
