I went DU for one quarter and could not stand to attend one more day. The girls were mostly wanna be models and the guys were really "bro". The school is small and rumors spread like wildfire. DU has many cliques and most students are not friendly. The parties, which typically run out of beer by 9 pm, were terrible and often busted. The staff was friendly, but sometimes a little arrogant. Students tend to think they are extremely intelligent because they attend DU. The food is full of butter and salt. I resorted to eating easy mac instead of the nasty cafeteria food at least five times a week. The only part of DU I enjoyed was the city of Denver. After first quarter, I knew 5 other students that decided to transfer schools. DU seems like a school most students either love or hate. Schedule a visit, spend the night, and really get a feel for the school before you make a decision.
