Comparing other large universities, UH buildings are very old, and building appearances aren't very good, there are constructions going on, so alot of the roads are closed, and very noisy. Don't go there if you want to live like at home, because its an ugly campus… However, it is very easy to get internships to big companies, especially for engineering majors. One quick advice, if you have 3.5+GPA, dont come to UH, not worth it, try schools like UT or A&M, where the campus have a much better view
