I enjoy GA State for its convenience, flexibility, and well-respected faculty. I do not understand the racists who attend a university in the middle of a city heavily populated by African Americans and think it should exclude them. Many black Americans have worked very hard to help build this country. Anyone who doesn't think they should be able to access higher education in the country and city they helped build is ignorant to say the least. With that being said, I am overall pleased with my time at GA State. In the department I am affiliated with, European Americans STILL hold the disproportionate power. However, I am very glad for enclaves of black representation and support. All the African-descended people I have run into have been extremely helpful. That's it.
