Major: Criminal (This Major's Salary over time)
WCU is an amazing school. They may not be on the same level as the Ivy League schools or NC State, but that is because they are a smaller school. The tuition is getting more expensive but that is because they are trying to improve the campus in all aspects, from teachers to living facilities they are looking to create a better environment. There have been some problems on campus but there are problems on every single college campus across the country. We have a wide variety of race and color here at western and except all no matter what. If you go to Western you are family to everyone else there. All of the professors are there to help you and teach you. I have not met one professor that was not willing to help. The people that live in Cullowhee ( not the college students) do not have a problem with any of the students and are actually glad that they chose western to attend college. I highly recommend Western to anybody going into Music, Art, Criminal Justice, or general Education. These majors have some of the top staff in the state. Especially in Criminal Justice. The Criminal Justice department has the number one teaching staff in North Carolina. If you are looking for a college look into coming here. You will be accepted into the family when you first show up for open house.
