Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
First things first, I love this school. Not going to lie, the first week sucked though. However, my guess this happens for the majority of first semester college students. I strongly suggest that you join an extracurricular activity. This is a rather large school, and it allows you to become close with a small group of people that you see all of the time. It's nice having a roommate, but make sure that you don't spend all of your time with them. Branch out, but know that you have your roommate if you ever need a friend. Your roommate is your family on campus. However, if your roommate sucks, it's not the end of the world. I wasn't all that close with my roommates and I found friends in my major and extracurricular activities. The winters are brutally cold, so don't come here if you're not a winter person! I personally dislike winter and the cold, but I love to snowboard. UVM has great access to the mountains around it.
