In their defense, you are a typical female who basically took one of those useless/easy degrees and ended up getting scammed. I can see where you are coming from but you're just another typical female who goes for the Biology, Nursing, or general Art degrees which encompass like 80% of those sudden 'new majors' on the list. You should have thought befoer throwing all the money about whether you will learn anything, whether it will get you a job, and the overall relevance. That is how all university systems work nowadays. There are only a few that are useful and the fact you sat around actually attempting Antropology or something like that is just funny in the first place. You're talking about a system that gives you a piece of paper for the time spent working there, and it's pretty bad, but you're basically also getting a useless degree ontop of it. More champagne for their business and you should have grown up.. I'm 21 and I act mature, yet I see 18-25 year olds in FAU acting like immature brats. Thus it's no question it's turning towards catering towards these nonsense or irrelevant courseworks because they still get a bigger wave of freshmen and people like you every time to finance the whole operation. |
Major: Anthropology (This Major's Salary over time)
Don't attend FAU Honors in Jupiter or any satellite campus of FAU if you want a legitimate degree. You are going to work yourself nearly to death for a degree that neither places value or credits you for your dedication and hard work. The faculty is amazing, but they have no control over the fact that no matter your studies, you are going to end up with a useless Liberal Arts and Sciences degree. A lot of the faculty has left because the university didn't have funding for programs it originally had when I attended. Also, I would question the accreditation of the college itself because you can't receive a Bachelor's in your choice of majors. Regardless of whether you are majoring in science or English, you end up with a Liberal Arts degree. And, take it from someone who has been literally laughed at and asked where on earth I received my degree from. It does you no service on a job application. I'd highly recommend going elsewhere if you want a real degree that is going to result in a real job with gainful employment.
