I would like to largely agree with one exception. I know plenty of good students that graduated ECU who would be a benefit to any team they are on. However, I agree with everything else. Most recent grads will make more money working less hours than their instructors. The instructors haven't gotten decent raises in years and it shows. ECU is the cheapest in the UNC system and likewise has the lowest pay. Sadly the faculty and school doesn't care about you because numerous times random charges popped up that I had to pay with no valid explanation other than "its new." I am glad to be done and will not displaying my diploma. |
Major: PreMed and Medical (This Major's Salary over time)
I am a 2nd Bacc. student who has finished a Masters at another school. Before ECU, I went to private colleges. ECU doesn't teach. Students are self taught. Professors moral is low and they act like they do not believe students will come to class - THEY DO NOT TEACH THE MATERIAL! They are unapproachable and students are treated like cattle that are there to give them money and should be grateful for the priviledge. There is an over reliance on textbook maker websites and powerpoint. This college is not even trying. I would never hire anybody from ECU, knowing what I know now. Calling this a university is a joke. This is a money making machine to enrich the faculty, who could care less about doing their jobs.
