I loved this question… "How well prepared were you for "the workworld" and your current field?"

Many of my fellow students were super-lazy just like my coworkers. Not too smart either.

And this one:

was what you gained from college more informational or character building?

Yeah. This was a real character building experience. I learned to deal with a not-so-good manager from not-so-good teachers.

The campus is beautiful. I often use the library because I can always find a book I want and generally, there aren't many students there. Even during the day. (I work night shift).

One piece of advice. No matter how good your rapport with your teachers may be, they are NOT your friends. For your own sake, tell them that your father is a congressman or a bank manager. For all the blather about white privilege, they seem to be more impressed with your privileged background (especially if you are an out-of-stater). I was neither.

One more thing. It's easy to get on the dean's list. Tho I worked hard, some who didn't got on the dean's list.
