I switched to the University of Houston after my freshman year at a prestigious private university in the NE due to financial reasons. I have been more impressed with the faculty at UH than the other university I attended; and I have been presented more opportunities and better opportunities to develop myself professionally and academically at UH as well. And, for the in-state student, it is a lot cheaper than $250000 for a liberal arts degree.I highly recommend getting involved in a campus activity. I personally have been involved in the American Humanics program
