Hi,I am an International student from India, planning to join ASU in MBA…Can you let me know dowe have any campus placements and also about abt Co-op or Part time oppurtunities |
Hi,i am an international graduate applicant from india for the computer scinece major. can u please suggest me how good is my depaetment of major and also about the placements in and around the university |
Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I graduated from A-State in 2002, when when people ask me about my experience about ASU I say the same thing over and over A-State offers a student who is willing and wanting to be involved more than anyone could ask for. Whether it be a greek life(Sigma Chi), christian group(Catholic Newman Center), political groups(Young Republicans & SGA), intramurals, there is so much todo that one won't have enough time. The great thing about going to school in Jonesboro is the fact that Memphis is only 40 minutes away by the Interstate 555, there you can catch a minor league baseball game(redbirds), or the NBA Grizzlies, or go to the world famous Beale Street to catch a burger @ Hardrock. The campus and town has changed so much in the last 2 years, the administration has taken the charge to improve not only the infrastructure of the campus(new apts. on campus, 40 million dollar student center equipped with our own Starbucks, 25 million dollar research facility, 15 million dollar parking deck, 20 million dollar fine art center, with plans to build a new liberal arts center and alumni building on the pond over looking Indian Stadium and the Convocation Center) but has made a new vow to improve the athletics at A-State. The hiring of Football Coach Steve Roberts has brought back the tradition of winning at A-State, entering into ASU's 13 year of D-1A football, ASU is averaging almost 20,000 fans at each home game, and contending for the Sun Belt Conference Championship. As always the Indian Basketball team is keeping up the tradition of quality and winning basketball under the leadership of Dickey Nutt. As of the post right now the Indians are 11-2 with wins over one SEC team(Ole Miss) and 2 road wins over C-USA teams(S. Miss., TCU). Big Dance we are on our way, come March watch out because the Indians will be on the warpath!!! While taking my major classes of Political Science, I was exposed to unimaginable wealth of knowledge and personal growth. My professors helped me not only in school with my academics but with my personal tribulations. Overall, my time at ASU will always be one for which I will be eternally grateful for. I originally snubbed ASU and all that it had to offer, I had always taken for granted my local university and the quality education it could and does provide. I can not say enough good things about the quality of education I received while going to A-State, any accomplishments that I achieve in my life will in part be due to my university: Arkansas State University!! Go Tribe!!!!!!!!!
