ASU is a very good academic school. It has a massive student population that grows bigger each year. In about 10 years ASU will become a Mega University that innovates and becomes a world leader. As others have said on here already, there are so many opportunities here. Strong recommendation to enroll out ASU.

responseThe only opportunities at ASU are opportunities to ruin your career.
responseYou are absolutely right about ASU. We are a growing superpower!
questionHi, My name is Kendall and I am a senior in HS trying to decide between ASU Downtown and NAU. I have heard some pretty bad shit about ASU but it sounds like you are liking it. So I am just curious why your experience is different from other peoples? Were you from out of state? Whats your Major? What is so great about it other then the huge student body and good academics?
responseI'm not the OP - but if you want advice, go to NAU or think about community college or the WUE program (out-of-state college at lower rates for eligible participants) instead. NAU is a prettier, smaller, more collegiate environment that was once billed as 'the undergraduate campus' for Arizona back when the three universities were jockeying for their respective niches. Incidentally, ASU has lousy academics - they attract a lot of National Merit scholars because of tuition reduction and special treatment offers. More often than not these fail to materialize and the Nat'l Merit kids frequently regret attending. In many subjects you will get superior instruction at several of the local community colleges, without the attitude, price inflation or bureaucratic BS. I can personally vouch that an ASU graduate course in computing was very similar to a CC
Intro to Java Programming
course, which covered the same material in the same textbook.
At ASU you will also encounter faculty indifference, faculty misdeeds, lack of competent advising, theft, rip-offs, crap parking and all the grief that these things bring.
commentHello! I see some negativity in the comments and want to add my two cents. Special programs for students are as important as sports scholarships. This is an indicator both for popularity and for the inclusiveness of an educational institution. I had a friend who studied under such a program. he became a real footballer and I can even track him through the site to bookmakers - https://1xbet.co.ke/ So I'm glad that everyone has a chance to study there and get good prospects for their future.
