Dartmouth is such an awesome place. It's welcoming, noncompetitive, and fosters a sincere love of learning. It's a great place to go to college, but college is always going to be what you make of it. The opportunities for academic and personal enrichment here are pretty much limitless, but you've got to reach out and take advantage of them. The opportunities to work and study abroad at Dartmouth a particularly exceptional. The winters are cold but manageable , and the town of Hanover is very New England-ish. The outdoor options (kayaking, biking, climbing, hiking) are boundless.
