Marist is a beautiful campus and I have met some great people. The location is what made me pick it because being so close to New York City will hopefully help me get internships and eventually a full time job. The one con I have concerning Marist is the meal plan/dining hall. The dining hall closes at 8 pm on weekdays and 7pm on weekends. That doesn't fit a lot of people's schedules. Also the meal plan for freshman gives them either $25 or $50 in thrifty cash (dining dollars). Other schools I have visited have more meal plan choices and these choices allow many different options. Marist is a pretty big party school but most students are into doing well in school. It's a really good atmosphere and it was easy for me to adjust
