Being a nice mid-western girl I experienced someQuite Bright
Being a nice mid-western girl I experienced some culture shock at ASU. To be honest, I pretty much hated it. I like to drink and party as much as anyone else, but the company here sucks. The girls all have fake boobs and blonde hair and eat about 500 calories a day unless they throw it up, and you'd think out of 50,000 guys, there would be some hotties, unfortunately the hot girl to hot guy ratio is in the realm of 100/1. It's true there are nice people here, but you have to look. People will not be rude to your face, but that's because most of them are too stupid. They're definitely fake nice. Oh and don't bother with science or math, you'll get stuck with either a person who doesn't speak english or a grad student who doesn't know much. A final comment is that if you're into sports and want a school with tradition, then DON'T COME HERE!!! No one does anything in relation to athletics, homecoming, clubs. And the greek system sucks, they don't even get to live in houses, most of the frats have been kicked off campus. Also be prepared to have a professor that has no idea who you are, the class sizes can be up to 500...even at best you'll get 150 and they still won't know who you are.
