I no longer go to USC--I transfered afterBrightOther
I no longer go to USC--I transfered after being there for a year and a half. USC does have it's good points. It's got a beautiful campus, an awesome football team, and fantastic connections through the Trojan family. But I hated every minute of my time spent there. If you ren't beautiful, rich, and from California, I don't reccomend coming to USC. Also, the greek system is active to a fault--if you aren't part of it, you're automatically an outsider. Girls at USC are vapid and shallow. Guys only care about one thing: having sex with these vapid and shallow girls. LA is a cool city, but it's crowded and polluted and expensive. If you wanna stick around campus rather than hang out in the city, you have two choices: go to a frat party or go to a frat party. The only reason I was hesitant to leave, was the fact that I knew a degree from USC could pretty much get me a job anywhere. But I finally decided that my hapiness was more important than the connections I made. And I do not regret that decision.

Question
Super BrilliantEngineering Department
Surrounding Area does not have much for students in terms of things to do. Since the school is located in LA a car is a necessity. Without a car it can get tough sometimes. With a car though LA is the best city. The university should improve the surrounding area. Dining facilitites should improve too. More vegetarian and better food quality.

Question
USC has an excellent location in Los AngelesBrightBusiness - Management and Administration
USC has an excellent location in Los Angeles to study a wide variety of subjects. Unfortunately, USC is poorly

administrated. The staff is often surly, rude and very cold. The faculty is generally self absorbed. The

professors who are friendly often transfer from the tiresome bureaucracy at USC. I met some great friends including my wife at USC. If you are from an elite, well

moneyed Southern California family, USC's contacts and yourfamily contacts will be important to your success. However, most of the contacts are your own family's contacts. If you are not from an elite family, please realize that you may spend an exhorbitant sum for tuition for personal alumni contacts that you are not likely to obtain. I did not think of USC when attending professional school. Simply put, unless you obtain a full scholarship to USC, the school is not a good value.
