The school is nothing but guido and doucheAverageComputer Science
The school is nothing but guido and douche bag loving whores. If you like new jersey and long island preps and want to contract stds at a junkyard club in town, come here. I swear you only have the same type of friends who will all take the oppurunity to stab you in the back whatever be the cause. No diversity in social standards whatsoever. If you're not a tristate prep, you will have trouble fitting in. Don't forget your coach bag.

Question
Alright, so this school is absolutely beautiful, rightBusiness - Management and Administration
Alright, so this school is absolutely beautiful, right on the hudson river, you have a great view of the mid-hudson bridge. The city of poughkeepsie is quite scary, I hear about kids getting jumped all the time, I've seen gang fights. The cabs are expensive, so pretty much if you don't have a car you're stuck on campus unless you want to goto the bar/club. The Loft is the big spot in town, not really into myself, its just a club. One thing this is seriously lacking is more interesting people. Everything feels like high school again, an alternative mind really doesn't fit in well. If you like to wear uggs and abercombie you'll fit in great here with all the other hollister models. Personally I feel alot of tension between the whole preppy style type of person vs. the kids with a different sense of style. In fact I've heard on multiple accounts a few gotti-esque hair guys saying how much they hate kids with long hair. This school doesn't seem very liberal at all, maybe kids were protesting during the 60s and vietnam but not anymore, there is no real voice on campus beyond what one did last night.

Question
I loved Marist at the beginning, but everyAveragePsychology
I loved Marist at the beginning, but every semester seemed to get worse dealing with housing and the academic offices. Housing at Marist lies to you about openings available, and only works with you if you go directly to the President. The faculty is less than friendly, and does little to help you out. The secretaries in many different offices are rude, and leave you hanging with no answers to your questions. I just feel like Marist Faculty really doesn't care that much, the admissions office brings in too many freshman and therefore leave upper classman with no housing.
